CAPT Todd Huber, USN

Captain Todd C. Huber serves as the Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) Deployment Office Director. Todd’s education includes a 1994 Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy, Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, and Master of Business Administration from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He was designated a Naval Aviator in July 1997. His subsequent F/A-18 squadron operational flying assignments include the Wildcats of VFA-131 in Oceana, Virginia, the Royal Maces of VFA-27 in Atsugi, Japan, and a Commanding Officer tour with the Stingers of VFA-113 in Lemoore, California. Shore duty assignments include the Empire Test Pilots’ School in Boscombe Down, England and flight test assignments with the Carrier Suitability Department and F-35 JSF Integrated Test Force in Patuxent River, Maryland. He also served as the Chief of Unmanned Systems for the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) training directorate and served in the LRASM Class Desk engineering role prior to assuming duties as LDO Director. Outside of the Navy, Todd has field experience with technology transfer non-profit start-ups including operations in remote and austere environments across regions of the developing world.

 

Captain Huber has over 3,000 hours of flight time in 52 types of aircraft, including over 700 carrier arrestments.

 

His personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Strike/Flight Air Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal as well as multiple unit and service awards.
